Halloween Edition should NOT be immediately put in Arena

Halloween Edition changes much more than the appearance of the game, so it should not be mandated for Arena mode until voted on or enforced by the publisher at the start of next season. It is completely unfair to use a different version of the game for a partial season and then switch it. Please revert arena mode to Original rules.

I am a big fan of these AI-constructed balance changes, I love that this edition is now on BGA, the Guru page suggestion to have future seasons use this edition is mine, and I have purchased it IRL.

But immediately without warning is not the time to change Arena settings.

WHY do they keep doing this?

BGA, you can do better!

Completely agree with this.
It is a very different game, and I was very surprised when I had to play it.

Changing the appeareances and the "look" for Hallowen is a nice idea, but changing the rules of the game in the middle of an Arena session is an orrible idea.

There are a few (7?) patches that have had their costs adjusted based on AI play. Some pieces ended up on the winner's board much more often than the non-winning board. There are a few threads on BGG discussing this, including comments from the AI developer.
