Last round loose?

Hello,
if, in the last round, nobody wins, the card giver gets 6 points but looses the game, even if he would be over 50 then (in a 6 month game). Why is it like that?

Well, if the dealer was in the lead BEFORE the 6 points happen AND they lose, that's not supposed to happen
