Last couple of matches are still in progress, but I believe I can already brag that I've played all 395 games on BGA.

I play turn-based most of the time, which can be really good for learning. I think that's a real selling point of the site. (On the other hand, all those trick-taking games take forever turn-based, they've all blurred together for me).

Now to try for 100 ELO in as many games as possible.

How many did you get the "first victory" trophy on? That's my challenge

I'm about 100 off doing this, been trying to play 2-3 new ones per day but some of them are really hard to get people for and so many new games enter beta every month (which is a good thing really). Trouble is that I like to understand the game before I move on from it, and that takes a few games sometimes. Congrats on getting it done, is there any achievement for playing through them all? I feel like there should be.

Sometimes I think of trying this myself. Then I remind myself I probably shouldn't, with all the time needed for that.

I got an achievement back in March when there were about 70 games to go, not sure what's up with that.

I think the time commitment depends on how fast you want to achieve it and how well do you want to know each game. If one can keep a laid back attitude, it can be nice as a way of exploring different games without being awfully time consuming.

That is very interesting. I was going to try all the games from with greater than 7 ratings but eventually burned out. Learning new rules is rough for me. I am back on BGA and decided just to play the ones I like more often than trying new ones. There are quite a few newer ones that look quite good though.

In December last year I got the Nobel Prize badge for playing all available games on BGA…

At the time I thought it might be doing something like comparing total of released games with released+beta+alpha played.
