Board Game Arena

A couple of annoyances I noticed when browsing the forums. I did a quick bug search, but it doesn't help that apparently you can't filter by "BGA website" reports...

1. When I visit the main forum page (especially the first time in a day), the page takes a while to fully load and then "jumps" up (once the "Application loading..." message disappears). Such that I click on "Discussions" before it's finished loading, but the click only registers after the "jump up", so I end up in "Tournaments / Les tournois". I'd attribute it to bad timing, but it happens quite consistently, I don't think I can be as consistent in clicking in a particular millisecond window. This is with Firefox, if it matters.

2. When going to the first unread post in a topic, let's say it brings me to page 2 out of 5. I finish reading page 2, and click on next page (page 3). Then I go back in the browser to re-read something in page 2... and I am in page 4 instead. Huh? Of course, this must be because the the previous page was not "page 2" but "the first unread page", and since I had already read pages 2 and 3, the first unread is page 4. Logical, but not what one would expect.

3. When looking at the post-history of one player (or myself), the first few lines that are listed show quotation at the beginning of a post as if they were of that player (without the box or opening tag that shows the text within is actually a quote and not what this player wrote).

i thought it was only me and my oldlaptop ... this is extra annoying indeed (happens on Chrome forme)

4. In the main forum page, I scroll down to check some specific game forum. Then I go back to the main page, and I'm taken back to the top, so I have to scroll down again to check another game. This does not happen in other sites, where going back just takes me to the same position I was in the previous page. This constant scrolling down to the games forums is annoying too.

5. On Firefox at least, mouse gestures (e.g. scroll to top/bottom) don't work in the forum, they work elsewhere.
