Suggested players for game should be 6

Right now the game suggests to play it in 5 players and I am afraid that in 5 players it will be played in Arena too.
However most balanced game it is when playing in 6 players.
In players, Outlaws have very low chance of winning. I have been playing BANG for years and in 5 or 7 players it is like 75% chance to win for sheriff.
Please, change suggested players to 6 and when creating Arena, set it up to 6 players so it is well balanced

I think it's not balanced at 5 in BGA because most of players here play outlaws like renegade (or vice sometimes!) And renegade like vice too much.
So the 5 suggestion would be OK if everybody plays correctly their role which is not the case

The best games are 5 or 7 players, I don't like 6 so much.

A 6 player game is balanced because you have 3 outlaws vs 2 lawmen AND a renegade. The renegade wantsthe outlaws dead as well. Ideally, he doesn't start shooting the vice, or Sheriff is vice is dead, until he needs to start balancing the game. Even in a 7 player game he is going to try and kill an outlaw first. He gets more cards, and he can kill a vice afterwards. In a 5 or 7 player game, nobody shoots the Sheriff because they become an instant target, and then it comes down to which side loses a member first. If a vice or renegade is killed, then it's 2v2 or 3v3. A 5 player game is really set up for the Sheriff to win. 6 player game is balanced and involves more skill, IMO.

that's because most of players play renegade wrong.
renegade should shoot outlaw only if outlaws are too strong, the main goal of renegade is to balance both team and kill vice before 3 players game.
renegade must keep sheriff alive, not keep him strong
Because in case of Sheriff vs Vice vs Renegade it's 95-98% win for law.
Most of Renegade wants to play as vice to confuse Sheriff, but in fact they make sheriff win
Anyway there are so much paramater you can't control, in the end it's 95% luck

5 players is sux, change it 6 or 7. I think 6 is the best, 7 is longer and need to be more clever and need different strategy.
5 players is sux for the bandits... I wont recommend it...

4 players is ok. Initially Sheriff + Renegade vs two outlaws.
Roles are pretty clear fast. But at least everyone has chances.
5 players is terrible. Sheriff + Deputy vs two outlaws... if the outlaws fire on the sheriff then the deputy will gun them down. The Renegade has to protect the sheriff and kill the deputy. There are several ways for the outlaws to lose this due to position, but the biggest loss factor is lack of information. The Outlaws do not know who the Renegade and the Deputy are, and themselves. Shooting the Sheriff outs them, and they do not have enough support to deal with the sheriff unless they get lucky. Not shooting the sheriff usually invites cross-fire. One outlaw just loses, even if the renegade and the deputy are down, then the Sheriff(who will not be attacked by those two...) is usually in a supreme position and ends the game.
I cannot say much about 6 and 7 players, but 5 players is clearly not the best number of players.

Playing "incorrectly" should not change what the best player count is. All games can be played badly or played well.
