Force players to take pending turns before creating or joining a new game.

I like the spirit of this rule. Especially if applied to joining or creating new turn-based games.
But I imagine someone saying "well, it's my turn in this turn-based game that will take me 15 minutes to think about what I want to do because I need to sketch out the whole game tree before moving, you know, the way I do it over-the-board as well.

But I just want to play a quick 5-minute real-time game right now. That's all the time I have to spare. What? In the time I spent typing this I could have been pondering my next turn-based move. I don't know what you mean...."
Nice avatar, by the way.

It‘s already implemented halfway I think, you can‘t open a new game of the same you have a move pending.

The way you do this is that if it's been 48 hours since their last move, force them to make a move. Otherwise, no restriction.

To be precise, I believe you can't open a new
real-time arena game if you have a move pending in a turnbased
arena game for the same game. This makes sense, this is a competitive format and people were manipulating rankings.
In general, I think there are many situations where it is undesirable to force people to make a move in their turnbased games before playing any other game. Think about:
1. As mentioned - you are playing a long strategic game where you would need time to calculate everything, but just want to play a quick game right now.
2. A game you opened in turnbased mode because you're learning the game and will have to revisit the rules.
3. You have some turnbased games going, but want to play some realtime games with some friends. It would be annoying if you are forced to make moves before you can play (or potentially even between games and your friends have to wait).
In general, game timers do exist for a reason, if someone goes overtime you are free and within your rights to skip them, but otherwise people should be free to make their moves within the allotted time. If you truly want games to move fast: play realtime. If you don't have time for realtime games, configure or join games with fast settings: you can set the game to a couple moves per day, giving people limited time per move.

No. Yucata does this and it's annoying
If I want to play real-time with friends, why should I have to take all my turn based games (which are on 1 or 2 moves per day) first?

Then, force players to play their pending turns before creating or joining a new turn based table of the same game...

As long as they are within their allotted time, they should be free to use the thinking time however they want. If they spend the time with opening new tables - so be it. You don't know the reason why they feel able to open tables but not to play their move. Maybe a move is complicated and they want to spend a few more minutes on it which they can't do in that moment?
