At now there is no possibility to do this. The thing is: we CAN do this technically, but we haven't found a way to integrate it with the design. To be more accurate: we certainly don't want to add any additional element visible by default to the lobby design, because it would make the interface more complex for all users while this feature is only for "power users".
I understand the reason to not add it to the front page, and agree. Can you please add this feature to the game's page? For example, I want to remove Werewolves because the game is only good in person. A button on https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=werewolves would work for this. Other people gave suggestions I like more, but would be more to code, while this should be pretty easy to code.

Maybe if you don’t play for it say 6 months or a year the game should fall away from “games you know”?

I have played some games one or two times, decided I don’t like it, and now it’s stuck there forever which seems a bit silly.
