A day-side only tournament

Hello,

I would like to organize a regular 7 wonders tournament in New Edition where players can only get the day side of their wonder (no night side at all) as I think it would be an interesting format to try out. The tournament interface does not offer this option. Is there a solution ?

Thank you very much to anyone who can answer !

I agree there should be an option to play with just the Day sides.
It's even in the rulebook!

Day-side boards only offer a more balanced (fair) setup.

You can setup up tournament as choose-board setup, but make it clear/understood that players MUST CHOOSE the day side (even if they can choose the night side). Any player who choose night side automatically lose that game (as the game will be scrapped). There is no day-side only setup in the game right now (though the rulebook , as Wonderful Plays mention, allows and even suggest it for first game).

That does not seem convenient, does it mean you basically have, as the host, to check everygame and to ban or kick every player using the day side ? Is it possible ? And how does it will affect the games and the results ? If one player picks a night side in a 5 player game and you kick him, is the game nullified ?

A general "Day side only" for the game seems a lot easier to handle.
