I made an online version of the party game Krazy Wordz

Hi! If you've never heard of Krazy Wordz before: It's one of the most brilliant party games I know. It basically boils down to this: Each player is assigned a category and a couple of letter tiles. Everyone uses their letters to construct a word that matches their category as closely as possible. Then all categories will be shuffled and revealed. Now each player tries to match all the words to these categories. Simple enough, but here's the catch: The words must not actually exist. With the few letters you're given, you need to completely make up a word, but if the other players can't guess it, you won't get any points.

It's a great concept, and with the right group of people, hilarity quickly ensues. A couple of our creations have even managed to stick around in our daily vocabulary. I enjoy the game so much that I've decided to implement an online version of the game a while ago. As of a couple of weeks ago, I'm allowed to share it with the public because Ravensburger was so kind as to give me an official permission.

So here it is! https://krazy-wordz.cardboardfrenzy.com/

One caveat: Unlike most other digital boardgames such as those on BGA, you can't just jump in and play a game with random people. There's no matchmaking system. The concept is similar to Gartic Phone in that you gather a couple of people, jump on Discord or Zoom or something similar and then create a game room to share with your group. It's a game best played with people you know, but depending on how much traction this gets, I might build a public lobby at some point to see how well that works. For now, it's more of a way to play the game with friends and family if you're unable to get together for any reason.

Have fun!

Very nice, but advertising other gaming sites is against ToS if I'm not mistaken.
