Can we please make the 4 colour deck optional again? I understand that it is helpful for some players, but forcing everyone to use 4 colours isn't helpful either.

Yes, the same for me. it is not possible to concentrate on playing with 4 card colors. Give the possibility of double choice. the cards were originally black and red

I've added a Game Preference where you can choose between English deck (4 colors ) and French deck ( 2 colors ).

players'log remain in 4 colors.
