illusion Question

I got illusion(as a demon) and gate of hell , but they can't gave me 1 point in the round end. How to get the point?

You need to use a power, when you want Illusion to act as a demon/creature/dragon.
You may use Illusion with the "turn + turn demon -> gain death on this" power of Gate of Hell.
If you have Gate of Hell and Coral Castle (or another PoP with "Check victory now" power), you may use the Victory check power and react to this power with the Illusion, and get the additional VP from Gate of Hell, as during this power, (victory check), the magic item is seen as a demon.
If you wait for end of turn victory check, or if the victory check is caused by another player, you can't use Illusion.

No, you need to be the one who uses a power (Victory Check), as written on the Illusion item.
Note that there's a subtle interaction with the monument that has a react power to victory check requiring to turn a demon. That react power allows to use Illusion on any victory check, as the power used is then the react power.
