BGA Masters 2022

Hey all! 
The new tournament series BGA Masters 2022 starts on February 1st.
1 BGA Masters – what is that?
BGA Masters is a tournament series which takes place online at Board Game Arena. It is divided into the following phases:
Every player can take part in any number of tournaments.
Participation with more than one nickname is prohibited.
2 Qualification tournaments
All 50 qualification tournaments are played turn based (game speed 7 days per player) in knockout system.
The best 32 players of each qualification tournament collect points which flow into a ranking:
3 Ranking
The points that a player has accumulated in all qualifying tournaments are added together.
After the 50 qualification tournaments have been played, the first 16 players in the ranking qualify for the playoffs:
4 Playoffs
In the playoffs a real time match with the following match length will be played:
The games are drawn (from the 50 games). Each player can use 3 vetoes if he wants to skip a game. The second-named player, who was placed lower in the ranking, must always indicate first whether he would like to use his veto.
5 Netiquette
At the BGA Masters, special emphasis is placed on fair and friendly interaction with one another.
Anyone who does not want to adhere to them should please avoid the BGA Masters.
Players who are conspicuous due to particularly unsportsmanlike behavior can be excluded from the BGA Masters.
