if I got gift points on 2021-01-22, the top banner says they need to be used before 2021-01-21, does that mean the gift points need to be used by 1-20? 1-21? 1-22?

Before = earlier than. I‘d just not gamble and use them by the 20th the latest.

I feel like if that's the case, why doesn't BGA update to "use by x date" to eliminate confusion?

I honestly don‘t see how „before“ would be confusing anyhow
