Without a few details, that’s a very unhelpful thing to say.
Would you mind explaining why or giving examples?
Did you report said bugs?

Don't be so negative. <s>That feedback sure is right, and it indeed is still a bit sad thinking that it used to work a lot better and then got a buggy reimplementation out of the blue.</s>And giving that feedback in more areas can be a good thing as it gives more visibility to that fact

If you want examples, look at the gazillion bug reports, and obviously reporting them doesn't fix them.[s] And while you can still report, it is pretty obvious that there's no longer active support for this game

Worst ones in my opinion: not being able to scroll on mobile without playing cards, having to refresh because the game hides important buttons, not being able to show the discard pile in order in turn based play, terrible error messages that are unhelpful and tell you wrong stuff (like telling you, you should select a colour to hint when it's not even your turn)[/s]

Edit: sorry, mixed up this game with another one. There's indeed not that many bugs in it. But I can see how some might be very annoying

Are you speaking of king of Tokyo? I don't see when it asks you to select a color!

Sorry yes, was reading two game related threads at the same time and thought this belonged to the other one 🤦 sorry for the confusion

Nevertheless, bringing visibility to faulty function is a good thing. And surely the thread opener doesn't have to regurgitate all bugs they are annoyed about. It's still good to shine light on it, let people find mentioned about bugs in several places du they know it's not them

As the active developper, I need to know more to understand his concerns ;)
I have some work right now, some complex bugs are waiting for 1 or 2 weeks, but they're still in my head, will be treated soon, or I need to confirm some things with the publisher before fixing them.
But I consider I treat most of them, and bringing regulary new expansion can lead to new bugs, but even if there are bugs for small twitched cases (so many combinations possible with actual cards and rules), most games of King of Tokyo go without problems so I won't call it game incredibly buggy.
That's why I hope for more details (or maybe he also posted on the wrong subforum :D )

Always incredibly helpful to have comments like this.

'I find [person or thing] incredibly [very general negative attribute]. That is all.'

As Thoun above here quoted, he is still in very much active support. You are obviously forgetting most devs are volunteering, doing this in their spare time outside regular working hours, and sometimes more pressing matters come by.

Bugfixing is very time consuming, especially when many "bugs" are due to misinterpretation of the rules. They make one lose time. The other bug reports are lacking viable information, and making it incredibly timeconsuming to find where it went wrong.
Sometimes multiple examples/tables are needed to find the exact bug, but if only 1 person reports a certain bug, and it occurs to no one else…

If your car won't start 1 day, but the next time you drive it, it drives fine and whatever caused it to fail on that particular day hasn't occured anymore. Do you take it to a mechanic and ask him to fix it?
Now if you car failed several times a xweek I'd understand, but not if it occured only once.

Which in no way implies you should not file a bug report obviously, since as many documentation as possible is needed to resolve bugs, someone has to be the first to report it and others to chime in when they experience the same bug. The more people affected, the higher it ends up on the priority list.
