Can we PLEASE not have to be part of a massive group chat just to be allowed to test an Alpha game?

All day, every single day, a few select people message the Great Western Trail alpha group chat with either game links or just conversation with one other person in the chat.
These messages are sent to 4,000 people. Everyone asks them to stop. Everyone wants to leave/mute the chat immediately but can't without losing access to the game entirely.
We need an option to mute a group chat. Or if that is physically impossible to change, at least don't force people to be in a community group to test an alpha if it means being chained to an obnoxious feature (the un-leavable group chat) that less than 1% of the people punished by it actually use.
I'm just so sick of it. Is anyone else with me?
