Is it possible to create a game with Random factions? It appears not to be, though Im thinking it must be. Thanks.

On any given map, some colors are much stronger than others. Assigning factions randomly means that a player could lose the game out of the gate.

That said, I think the fixed setup assigns factions randomly out of the preselected pool.

"Fixed Map Fixed Factions" says "The first game setup from the rulebook. Starting factions and mines are predetermined." I thought this meant the exact same factions and initial setup of Mines was the same. So then its just the map layout with random factions mines not setup?

It is the exact same set of factions and mines, but you won't necessarily be the same faction from one game to the next.
