Time Zone filtering

Hi,
It is complicated to play a game with players which have very different UTC time zone than yours. Even if the setting of the game is defined on 4 or more plays by day, with the night time of all players it is too slowly...
As BGA knows the country of each player, it would be a welcome option to filter available games by UTC time zone in order to play more rapidly. Just have the option to select a number of hours from your UTC to create a timezone of filtering.
Thanks !
Leo.

The shown playing times always are in your time zone.

"The shown playing times always are in your time zone."
You didn't understand my suggestion. What I'm saying is I would like to play games only with guys of my UTC Time Zone.
I'm french and I don't want to play with US for exemple...

So where is the drama to play with someone from US that has his playing hours in the early afternoon, which matches your playing hours in your evening?
If you are suggesting that the filter that exists for tournaments (I think, I play as little tournaments as turn based these days), to restrict games by playing times, is given for any turn based table, then I‘d certainly agree (and there likely would be an actual suggestion about this already).

Same timezone does not equal same free time in the day.
Someone could work evenings and nights, and another work during daytime. Someone could play once in a while at the workplace, the other cannot. One goes to bed early, the other is up all night.

"So where is the drama...."
It is not a drama... Just the game will be very more slow.
If all the players of the game are in the same TimeZone --> they can play lots of turns in their day because they shared the same asleep/awake time cycle window.
If all player are all over the world they share only a little time windows and they cannot play several turn.
It's a fact + it is mathematical --> the game will be more slow.
So the question is not if I'm right or not but how is the best way to implement this option :
- Each account profile contains a country (a city will be better...) --> we could use that for filtering
- When creating a game : the owner (only if he wants) choose an option to accept only near UTC Time zone players
- When searching a game : the player (only if he wants) can filter only the games of its near UTC Time zone
A Near UTC Time Zone could be hardcoded with -3H <== X ==> +3H for exemple.

The „Drama“ comes In to play as players from other timelines run out of time while they sleep, hence the need to set a time exempt matching intividual needs, or at least depending on local time of individual players. Game won’t be much faster anyways, but this is aiding players in Europe.
It’s just not much fun, and not taking care of international needs. But it’s no Drama…. Just unfair.
