When an abandomnent is proposed, the top of the screens shows lists for players who "voted" Yes and No, and Pending.
Since as soon as a player votes No, the abandonment is rejected, what is the point of showing "No" at all? There should, if any, only be "Yes" and "Pending".

A player has the right to refuse and say no. As long as it is pending, the table shows that I have to make a move(agreeing or rejecting).

No:
Pending: Jimmy, Johnny, Joey, Jill

Why show "No"? There will never be anyone in "No", since as soon as someone says no, it will be rejected and this bar will disappear.

perhaps they leave it open so they can change the procedure in the future that you don't need 100% agreement to abandon?

Maybe it’s to make it clear that no one has said No yet?

This, it shows people have a choice. If the 'no' was removed, you'd feel pressured to say 'yes'.
