How to disable sound effects playing on mobile?

I often have music playing from my phone via bluetooth and it is pretty annoying that the game sounds interrupt that. Would be great if it could be completely muted.

Me, too. I have been enjoying this game and listening to the music on airpods. But whenever my turn is back, the sound is dissapearing… I really want to enjoy splendid with music. Please make a great way to solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

You have to disable sounds in your browser settings if you're playing web based. I listen to Audible books while playing and that's the only way I've found for it not to jam up the audio.

On mobile, to get rid of all the playing sounds, click your profile picture and then click the symbol with three vertical lines and circles on the far right. After you click that, click preferences. Once there you can go to sound and then you have to manually click the drop-down for each of the categories and scroll to the bottom and click no sound. There are a bunch of them that you have to say no sound for.

I keep trying this, but it keeps resetting all the sounds back
