Board Game Arena

Every time I try to use the hotseat feature I get the "You are connected again" bug, where during the hotseat player's turn that message is repeated endlessly in the log and is accompanied by game instability. This doesn't seem to be associated with a specific game and it happens across multiple devices.

Does this happen to everyone or are only some users affected? Does anyone know of a workaround for this, like using a specific browser or OS?

I'm interested in that as well. Given that the hotseat mode is a premium feature and the bug is about 2 years old – as is the "beta" status of the hotseat mode, I'd really like to see an ETA or some commitment or reaction on this at least.

I know, I know, this sounds very entitled – I'm a developer myself and know about the difficulties of all of this – but, imho, here the constellation is a bit weird: a buggy beta feature of 2 years with no ETA for fixing is sold as a premium. I'm a bit disappointed at least.

I encounter this bug too. A little bit annoying.
