Have you tried watching a Lost ruins replay? It is so many mouse clicks
I think there would be some easy optimizations. Like skip the "xxx player may perform free actions" step if the player did not use a free action.
But maybe it´s just me..

No need. Just click 'go to end of game' and watch over the game replayed.

I like to guess what a player might do as his next move, before he does it, and see if I´m correct. If not, I try to figure out why he did as he did. So the 'End of the game' replay option is way to fast for me
