Why can't Concept be played in turns?

It is a clue game just like PI or 13 clues...

It's a real time game. There are no turns when giving clues or guessing, you move stuff around and the timing is important. It's more like playing charades than PI.

But why has it been decided this way? I mean, I see it as perfect as a turn-based game. I give you 7 clues and change the turn. You have x time to give me an answer, or you don't have maximum time because I'm not in a hurry...

Notice that this was going to be my first game but it seems not, in real time I don't play... maybe I'm missing something in the rules of the game...

I remember playing in turn-based in alpha/beta phase, and it felt off this way .. good move to put in real-time only imo.

The "clarifications" in the rules seem to point to a more lively game:

- The other players can try to guess the concept as often as they wish.
- The team members can say "yes" when others give a good answer or are following the correct line of thought.
- The order in which the team members place cubes on the board can be important. Don't hesitate to remove the cubes and place them again to emphasize the order in which they appear.
- The team members are free to place the cubes as they wish; they are NOT obliged to take turns when doing so.

I see some difficulties implementing these in a turn-based environment. Also consider that your team partner (not just the other team) could be another timezone.

Maybe it could be adapted: Place markers, make guess(es) (e.g. maximum 3), call it a win or a loss. But I'd say that's a different game.

It was publisher choice, no place for discussion sadly.
