No Time Limit restriction

Hey BGA, love your service, use it daily.
I absolutely hate the new extra step i have to take every time i create a no time limit table, the necessity that i restrict access to friends only.
I don't need your website to hold my hand to this degree during table creation, and neither does anybody else.
I know that I'm complaining about a small amount of my time being wasted every time i create a table, but what's the purpose of adding extra steps to a process that shouldn't be convoluted?

Simple answer: because the "no time limit" option was abused. Sorry about that, but unfortunately it's a case of some unsavoury users forcing a change that may make things less easy for some other players.

Would it at least be possible to maintain the settings when requesting a rematch? If I have already established a game with just friends, and I want to play with the same group and same settings, having to reset everything is frustrating and could damage an unsuspecting player's reputation if they thought they were going to be playing a game with no time limit!

Why this limitation cannot be extended to groups ? or small groups containing less than 10 members for example ?

If we allowed it for any group, abusers would continue to abuse.
If it was allowed for a certain size group, any group above this size would complain.
Please note that this is only for ranked games. You can still play "training mode" games: those are also "no time limit" games, but unranked, and players can quit anytime without penalty, which cancels the possibility for abuse.
The other option was to completely remove the "no time limit" option for ranked games, but we decided to keep allowing it with friends.
