I always play with two expansion combined, and it seems that in most cases Age 1 red cards are discarded since everybody want to be the first player in Age 2. Compared to a good access to the most powerful God, 2 VP in military and 1 or 2 advance in military track seems a bit weaker.
So I jump into the idea what if advantage in senator board could compensate for the lost of chance to gain the God first? I think with Agora, you could really go very aggressive in both politics and military, with your advantage in military could also turn into advantage in politics, and your advantage in politics could also turn into economical advantage.
Here is the rule:
Player who controls less chambers starts first in next Age. If there is a tie, the one who plays the last card decides who starts the next Age.
What do you guys think about this? Would you go for senators in Age 1 to start second in Age 2 when playing with Pantheon?
