Board Game Arena

BGA is a great platform that has 400+ games, the downside is that there are so many dead or low activity games. Games and hidden gems that are really fun to play. So let's introduce: game(s) of the week!
This will make the games more alive, create more buzz, learn new fun games, make friends and just having a good time.
Add in rewards for game(s) of the week like: like an X amount of finished (not abandoned) games, One gift point, A showoff badge for game(s) of the week or, any other appropriate award.

There is some games I want to try, if it is game of the week it would push me to do it

Maybe +1 gift points for playing it first time in that week? it isn't much but might help to motivate people to do it

I remember trying to do it in the forum some years ago by telling everyone to play X game X days at X hour, but I got three people I think after one month.

So having extra motivation for it look great.

Hahaha, I actually remember that post. now with 400+ games, it's more relevant.
I'd say a free, premium and a beta game per week. just thinking out loud though.

I like it. Upvoted, although I wonder how much tweaking of the site framework it would take to add rewards just for a few specific games.
