Karma Hit for Bugged Game

Hello,
I was playing Remember When, when I ran into a bug that has been submitted and voted on here.

It completely locks the game and makes a player completely unable to take an action. I requested the group to abandon the game and one player agreed and the other did nothing. That player waited for the time to run out and then ejected me, even though it was clear I was trying to take an action but couldn't.

At this point, I think the game is unplayable in its current state, and so few people will play it that it will never get enough bug reports to move up to get fixed. Honestly, it should probably just be removed at this point.
I'm also a bit frustrated that I took a reputation hit for a bug, but I'm not sure how to appeal that. (That may be by design, as BGA may not have the staff to deal with those appeals.)
In any case, I hope someone has some idea of how to proceed, other than not playing that game. I guess I should mention I have a goal for fun of trying to win all the BGA games, so it would be disappointing to not be able to complete it due to a bugged game.
