Board Game Arena

Sometimes when I play at a table peolpe are starting to argue in the chat, calling me or some other player a bad player and so on. It makes me sad. Is it possible to turn off the chat function all together? I kow I'm not the best player and some games I play quite badly, but calling my moves idiotic isn't helpful at all. It doesn't make me a better player. I know its possible to block players, but that doesn't solve the problem when people are being mean during play.

I am a bit surprised there isn't a way to turn off chat if you want to. You aren't forced into audio or video, by way of comparison.
