I have received 12 thumbs down for conceding?

Why is there a concede button if we are not supposed to use it?

The concede button only means that I am acknowledging that you have won and in order to SAVE TIME I am moving on to the next game.

What is wrong with that?

As far as I know no one receives any modifications to their ranks if someone leaves a game. You don' t end up with a lower rank and they don't get a higher rank.

Anytime I concede, I get a red thumbs down by the opponent.

That is their choice.


I don't think it is fair though.


Conceding means I give up and declare my opponent the winner. What is the problem with that, I wonder?

I do not give "red thumb" when concede the game, but some players do not like to finish the game with anticipation

Indeed, some players do not expect conceding, where the game suddenly end which may scare them...I think.
They mix up conceding and leaving, and that might be the reason that they give red thumb.

In my opinion, I think that you have not done any wrong.

people give you a negative rating for giving up...thanks! just rub in the fact that you were luckier than I was...if I get enough red thumbs down for conceding fewer players want to play me!

thanks! sometimes though I even say "gg, I give up...will concede" and I still get the thumb down...mind you, I have received thumbs down simply for winning!

Like just now...said gg, conceded...got a thumbs down! come on people!

Simply. Do not concede and just finish the game as quick as possible like normal.
Say "gg" at the end and a decent player will not give you a red thumb.
