Perhaps I'm stupid, but can anybody explain to me how my opponent got 22 coins among other stuff on my roll of 7 in this game?

Third roll before end of the game.

One of the red powers in the 7 has an arrow on it which actives all the powers one slot higher (the 8 sector).
One of the red powers in the 8 has a double arrow letting them choose the rewards from either one above or one below. (they choose the 9 slot)

The total of the coins in the 7, 8 and 9 red sectors is 22.

Actually, there isn't a second choice. If you chain arrows then you can't double back. (But if you swap an double arrow down to a 1-6 slot and then a double is rolled, you do get independent choices for the two dice).
