Chatting Room Mess

Just started using chatting table... What's wrong with this?
Is that on purpose that we always have to switch between game room and private room. I mean, i played with 1 friend, for several games straight, we had to open a different chat room everytime we finish a game.
Can't we just keep a chatting room with someone if we decide to?
Can't we just group with some people, friends, and keep this group chatting room for several games?
I really don't get the system how it's now.
