Have you ever wanted to play a nice game involving visiting scenic sites, eating nice food, or simply relaxing in hot springs?
Would you like to join the best community on BGA, make new friends, and improve your skills?
Or, even better, do you want to play in the most prestigious league where the standouts are invited to a World Championship?
If you like Japan, enjoy leisure gameplay that suits casuals and board game nerds alike, or just wanted to eat a bowl of Udon noodles, then this series may be what you're looking for.
The trails are fresh and ready. The accolades are up for grabs. Welcome, dear travelers, as I present to you:
The Tokaido Grand Tour

The Tokaido Grand Tour is a BGA based 2 player tournament series. The series is divided into three seasons, each spanning 3 months and consisting of two major tournaments (Swiss+Double Round Robin) and two cups. You may decide which tournaments to join, and each offers different rewards in points. After every three seasons, there will be a world championship where the top players in accumulated points are invited to battle it out for the World Champion.
This is the inaugural season (Season 0). We invite all interested players to join. You might be thinking, well, I don't know the game well, but please don't let that discourage you from joining
. Starting from Season 1, players will be assigned to various tiers determined by points gained in Season 0. You will be playing against players of similar skill levels, and there will be silverware dedicated to every tier, so stop hesistating and hit the sign up button!
