Arena Standings Should Be Reset

As expected, there weren't any awards or saved results for Space Base during Arena Season 8 (it was released within the final month of the season.)
However, it looks like the season standings were not reset. I think a reset is necessary, because there is also a format change.
Personally I'm happy with the format change, I'm sure some people will not like it, but either way there should be 2 options for handling this situation:
1) Keeping the standings as-is, and keeping the format as-was
2) Resetting the standings so that everyone starts at bronze 1 (maybe it's OK to send elite players to silver 1) and implement the format change to 4p Lightspeed.
