Do people like 2 player Architects? (Current Arena)

I find the current Arena setting interesting, I think I would prefer to leave 2 player games to 7 Wonders Duel as this game seems better suited to 3+ players like the original.
Am I missing something fun about playing this game 2 players?

Just played my first.
Got stomped. Wasn't my favorite. Doesn't seem to be too much to it.
Maybe I'm missing something. I'll probably play a couple more, but my first impression is 'meh!

Well it was the most upvoted change by gurus if it is the current format... But I don't know what they were thinking!

No, absolutely not.
I'm not a big fan of 2 player games of 4+ playergames anyways, but here it is definetly a let down.
Especially Military seems way to swingy in twoplayer.
Rules are you get 1 3 point marker when you win or 2 3 point markers when you win with at least double military.
So an early 2-1 win results in 6 points for one player and 0 for the other.
Considering Games are often decided on a 5 or less points difference this is a huge thing IMHO.

I have no idea why people would choose to play this game in a two player mode. There are a lot of games good for two players but 7 wonders architects is not one of them.

Je plussoie avec les messages ci-dessus...
Je viens de commencer ma saison, et je constate effectivement que l'on a choisi un mode 2 joueurs. Malheureusement, ce sera sans moi. Autant joué à 7wonders duel dans ce cas-là.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'll bother with this season.

Can someone who voted for this option explain why? I voted against, but I'm curious to know the reasons of those who voted for.

Played again, did worse.
2p may not be for me!
Hopefully it'll get changed back, or to 4p for next season. It'll be a long few months
