BGA app no longer pushing notifications to tablet notification area

Up until a few days ago, whenever it was my turn to play I would receive a BGA icon on my tablet notification area. If I went into the notifications if works show me what game was waiting.
Recently this has stopped. I received other notifications from my weather app etc but not BGA. If I go into the app I see the notice that indicates moves are waiting.
If I go into the app and verify the notification settings that are all turned on.
If I go into my tablet the notifications are turned on for the BGA app.
I have removed the app and re-installed it but still no Notifications.
Is anyone else having this issue.

I had this recently. I turned the notifications off and on again under Preferences/Push Notifications on the BGA website, and it went back to normal. I also noticed one day that the notifications were a bit slow, so maybe a few minutes to show rather than instantaneously but think this was a server problem because it resolved itself.

Did you do this via the app or via the website? I had done this via the app already and also via the Android settings so far.

Sorry I don't remember if via the app or website as I use both. No harm trying it on the website though.

I tried the website as you suggested.
Unfortunately that did not correct the issue either.
Thank you for providing input.

The BGA app uses the browser engine under the hood, so it actually amounts to the same thing.
If the notifications stopped working it may be an issue with the browser, you can try (assuming your mobile browser is chrome)
- opening boardgamearena.com in your browser
- clicking on the icon left of the address bar, then "Authorizations"
- click on "Reset authorizations"
Then go to the browser or app and in preferences / push notifications, disable then reenable notifications. The browser should then ask you to confirm the authorization to send notifications. Accept it, then try sending a test notification to the most recent subscription listed on the page.
Hope it helps!

Dang
Still no luck. I followed the instructions and it do prompt to allow notifications as you indicated.
Still nothing in my android notification area.
When I go into the app or the website it shows that I have a move pending at one table but the Android tray only does my Spotify app

First thanks for posting this. My notifications have never worked. I followed some of the advice above and discovered I had all Google Chrome notifications turned off. I was able to go to Chrome app icon go into my settings and enable notifications. It immediately worked. I didn't realize my app settings for Chrome also determined other app notifications. This is also probably why my notifications on reddit didn't work either.

It is fixed.
After reviewing everyone's suggestions I went back into chrome and clicked notifications.
This time it brought up notifications settings on my tablet and the notifications for chrome was off.
I enabled it and my alerts are showing up once again.
Thank you everyone for providing your feedback.
