Single Player "A Feast for Odin" Help

Sorry if this is the wrong place.

I''ve created a game of "A Feast for Odin" for one player, but I can't figure out how to actually start the game. The interface seems to really want me to open the table to other players, which defeats the purpose of a single player game. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong or overlooking?

It's been a while since I did a solo game. But if you set up the game correctly (put game mode to practice mode and set number of players to 1), and the game still says you have to open the table, that might just be what you have to do. It's another step to take, but it's probably there for a reason.

Have fun with your game ! A Feast for Odin is still on my list of games I definitely want to play. The amount of rules seems too overwhelming for me at the moment though, so I'm thinking of trying it out with my boardgame group first, so someone can explain it to me there.

That did it. Counterintuitive, but it worked. I thank you.

The mechanism is the same: Open table to players, then you can start before the table is full, or it will auto-start when full. For a solo game, the table is already full when you open it, so it auto-starts. Of course, it would make much more sense if the text in the button were changed to something like "Start game" (in the case of solo mode).
