Yes, this is an heraldic term (figurative speech to point to the player's icon by reference to medieval tournaments). A synonym to 'arms' is 'armorial bearings'.

This is for people setting up their own tournament (functionnality not available yet). A tournament is either specific to one game or multi-game.

This is contextual help for ELO game results on the result page for a finished game.
You are right, the sentence is not very good english (it's not our first language). I changed it to 'Number of points earned for this game'

This is some support message for people buying a game in a partner shop (this is experimental, we only have one partner shop in France for now), they get some free time as BGA Club members.
If we can't find their order number when checking with the shop, we print them the following messages :
"We couldn't find your order when we questioned the shop."
"First, please check carefully your order number."
"Second, please retry in 10-15 minutes, they could be some issue with the shop."
"Finally, if you didn't get your membership, please contact us."

This one is shown when reporting misbehaviour of a player (at the end of a game, 'report this player' link).
It shows in front of the box for describing the misbehaviour, inviting the reporting player to describe the ToS violation he feels to have happened.
To make it more understandable, I changed it to 'Please describe in what way this user violated the Terms of Service of the site. QUITTING A TABLE is NOT a ToS violation'.
