If my EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS are turned on I get WAY too many emails. But if they are turned off I get none. I wish there was a way to select how/when you want to get email notifications. Below are a few of my ideas.

1. Turn Notification based on # of games ready.
If I could select to be emailed after 10 games are ready that would be awesome! or select 5 or any other number a player might want.

2. Notifications based on Specific Games.
Now I don't care about being notified every time my turn comes up in a quick card game. But when its in an epic game of Blood Rage and I'm dying to see what happens.

3. Temporary Notifications based on Game.
Maybe I'm in the middle of a pretty epic game and we are getting close to the END. During this time I want to be in the game as much as I can. Email me as much as possible please! Give me a button to push while in game to say hey email me when its my turn.

4. Daily, Weekly, or Monthly Recaps
Can we get an email about the stats! How many games did we play, which game did we play most, spend most time playing, how many wins did I get, etc.

5. Forum Subscriptions
A way to subscribe to specific forums

6. Game Watch List
Get an Email when a specific game gets into beta or goes live that we have been waiting for!

Out of all these suggestions please at least implement the first idea!

These are all good suggestions, although I'm not sure how many people really like using e-mail for this stuff, as opposed to Browser/Windows/Mobile push notifications. (Personally I'm an e-mail fiend, I consume metric tons of RSS feeds, Youtube subs, news, etc.)

I always have a ton of Turn-Based games ongoing at any given time (200-300 is my usual range), so to avoid being bombarded with endless e-mails I setup BGA to send me a daily report every night of games where it is my turn, which are automatically sorted by time-left. Plus I also checked the option to get an e-mail whenever a game ends. The existing BGA email options are pretty flexible but yes your suggestions would further increase the functionality of email alerts!

If you use a desktop browser to play there is also an extension (for Chromium-based browsers) that works well, and cuts down the need for all the emails.
