Why on earth is it not against the BGA rules to extend a game for its own gain. Just played a game of solo where the player didn't play cards even if he could just so hi didn't lose and in the end I did lose. He hade 30 cards on his hand and when I call solo he shaped hands so he won. He was 110 points behind and I can't report him for that?! Isn't that a case of not lose because he won't all elo. And that is not the only one on this site that actively do so for its own gains and ruin for everyone else. Yes I gave him a red thumb but doesn't stop him to do the same on someone else. BGA needs to do something know, because its a big problem in many games.

And yes I know I going to get reported for discussion on a case but the BGA needs to do something, its not okay that player can behave like this. It's ruin the whole site then it's not a fair game.

As long as you don't mention usernames, you could discuss things, alrough you won't get anywhere.

Did the player break any rules? No, then tough.

I don't know the rules of Solo, but you say he won, then what did he do wrong? Isn't winning the objective, thus he did as he had to?

Why on earth would it be against BGA rules? Is it against the rules of Solo? Trying to win is kind of the point. If this thing annoys you, please stop playing Solo.

For those who don't know: In Solo, you try to get rid of cards in your hand and you get minus points for cards remaining in your hand when your opponent has managed to get rid of all their cards. Now, there is a special card in the game that make players swap hands. Here, the opponent had 30 cards in their hand while LillaJag had just one left, and so the opponent played the hand-swap card. Annoying? For sure. Against the rules? No.

Although this is a very annoying way for people to play Solo, it's not against the rules. If you notice a player stacking cards and holding them before playing, try to rotate the board before they can. Thumbs down the player to avoid them in the future if you can't stand it, I guess.

Not being a Solo player, but reading between the lines from what's posted above, this is not a problem with this player. This is a "problem" with this game. It looks like some people don't like it if someone doesn't win the "right way." Or maybe they are used to playing in a simplistic way and don't want to learn how to defend against non-standard tactics.

If the modifications to their behavior that you want are not in the rules, then your problem is actually with the rules. If you were playing at home, you could simply remove that card if you don't like it, but that would be a house rule, not the published rules.

I have been playing solo for the last couple of days and have also noticed this tactic. Players keep picking up even though they can go, it is very frustrating and really poor playing. I played back a game reviewing from an opponents hand. During the last round they had 3 draw fours and 1 wild in the hand but were continually picking up until they had 30 cards in their hand. Ready to swap it out at the last minute.

I have decided not to play Solo anymore it is not worth as it defeats the fun in the game.
