It's not that often that we can witness some very specific game mechanics.
The way Crime Zoom can be played doesn't allow us to have it ranked. Or to have ELO.
In fact, anything related to points had to be hidden for this game, cause this game has none of them.
It's all story-driven, and the only goal for you here is to be able to answer a few questions about your investigation when you finish it.
It's also a one-time play only, as each box has its own fixed scenario.
This game requires that you have your perfect sleuth-sense activated. And as it's heavily language-dependant, you'll be able to play it with French or English cards.
As we say, it's a very specific game, and most of it is based on the excellent writing from Stéphane Anquetil (aka Sleuth Games on Twitter), a writer specialised in detective games or escape-books.
So, Crime Zoom is a series of investigation games for 1 or any number of players and plays for about 1 hour.
You can play it with a group, and we strongly encourage streamers to have a try with their communities.
In Crime Zoom, you will conduct your investigation freely. Discuss between players to choose the tracks to follow. And as soon as you think you have solved the case, go to the questionnaire. Who is guilty? What is their motive? What is the murder weapon? And some subsidiary questions, of course. Uncovering the solution will allow you to answer each of these questions. The epilogue will tell all, allowing you to understand the plot that was set in motion.
Crime Zoom: A Dirty Objective is a demo case of the Crime Zoom family (in only 38 cards). It brings you to Brooklyn in 1980.

We would like to thank Stéphane Anquetil, the game writer, for his authorization to bring this brilliant piece of writing to Board Game Arena, as well as the publisher, Aurora, for their hard work.
All the kudos are up to Archduke who managed to make this gem playable online on your favorite platform.
The Crime Zoom games series is now a growing success, with close to 5 episodes available - and the latest, named "Window on crime" will be released at the end of June, and available in most boardgame shops or online.
That's it for today!
Have fun discovering it and see you on Wednesday!
