Board Game Arena

Hi, i don't know if it's the correct section, i beg your pardon in advance if so.

I was wondering if there is any chance to play very old games someday, such as:

Heroquest
Space crusade
(and their advanced versions, add-ons, etc...)

There are many titles (i own a very large amount of board games, old and new alike), i'm just making an example with those two.

Of course i would be happy to help anyway i can.

Probably not the answer that you were looking for, but it's possible to play Go, which is 4000 years old

Old or not, it needs a developper willing to do it. Game age doesn't really matter.
That being said, publisher will probably have more interested in giving licence authorization for new games they are promoting, so I wouldn't have a lot of hope. Sometimes publishers make a new edition of an old game, and it can be the occasion for them to promote it on BGA

In addition to needing a willing developer, BGA does need the license for the game. Backgammon, Go, and Senet (all over 1000 years old) have licenses in the public domain. The games mentioned probably still have ownership rights held by an entity (corporation or individual) who would need to provide the license.
