Hi world, here is the situation:

10 cards in deck. 7 clues left.
Played: all but g3.
Discarded: none (which matter).
Alice's hand: x-x-x-x-(g5) - g5 is globally known
Bob's hand: x-x-x-x-x.
Cathy's hand: x-x-x-x-x.
Your turn as Alice.

Extra informations:
The game is running since 18 minutes and 67 seconds.
There is no bomb for the moment.
Bob is holding two blue 1.
Alice don't have infos on her hand, but could hold a green 4, but has negative green in her chop.
The game is played in France.
Cathy likes bowling.
If the game is perfect, the team will get a free hamburger.
Bob is hungry.

What should Alice do?

It seems you are really far ahead, there are no issues, so....discard.

With 7 clues its obvious clue anything, but discard. With less it could be more interesting. If its played in real life Im just saying formula "we have forced win as long as I dont have both 4gs in my hand currently and last two cards are g3s. I wont be discarding anymore unless I see g4.[looking at my hand and if needed at deck]. Congratulate everyone on winning and take free hamburger

Hakha (and Jellby I suppose) is right.
If Alice is already holding one g4, discard and draw the second copy of g4, and if both g3 are in the bottom of the deck, then the game is lost

So Alice should not discard if she wants an hamburger.
Note that the situation is identical if Alice got one clue left.

Here is my rule for it: if clues isn't a problem, you want to check the hardest suit to finish on the board (it could be blue because one b3 is in the discard pile). Then you want to reduce the amount of player between two succesful cards.
So per example at 5 players, if b4 is globally known, you want for the 2/3 players after b4 to discard, and never the holder of b4.

And the second to last discard is the most important:
2 cards in deck. 7 clues left.
Played: all but g3.
Discarded: none (which matter).
Alice's hand: x-x-g4-x-(g5)
Bob's hand: x-g4-x-x-x
Cathy's hand: x-x-x-x-x
Your turn as Alice.

On this situation, only one player can discard and it's Alice. It's a player between the holder of the 5 (included) and the second next play (not included).

It happen to me in a real game about one year ago.
I stalled, and Bob of course bombed

It's a cooperative game until the hamburger is given to the players.
After that, I don't think it will stay cooperative...

Note: The game is possibly lost already, if Alice holds both G4s. This danger is still there no matter how many cards are left, even if there were still 20. But your point is still valid Romain.

So, let me ask this, if another player has a green 4 on chop at this time, will you save it? Even though there is no green 3 in sight?
