I've gone through the rules, but I still have no idea how units are supposed to get mobilized and:

• get put on the map

• get from the US to the UK

US units are mobilized in the Eastern North American map box (just below the main turn track). You need to then use transports to move them to the location you want. For build up you often want to transport to Glasgow as this moves through sea zone 1, which the Axis cannot usually intercept.

OK, but most of my new units never appear on the map.

Then you presumably must not be mobilising them? You need to mobilise US units in that box in the mobilisation phase.
