Give players options for what / if a flag will show up next to their name.
Examples:
A White-Blue-White flag option for Russian players.
A White-red-white flag option for players from Belarus.
A European Union flag option for players from the UK.

We are looking at what actions we can take regarding highlighting the issues with the flags, as there has not been a response from BGA to these bug reports.

Those are examples. If you click on the links, you'll notice that the request for a Euro flag was not made by Daffy, but rather someone else.The idea is to make clear that there are reasons other than the war to request alternative flags.

I as a German also want the option to display a black-white-red flag, good idea.

Like many other services, BGA relies on the ISO 3166 list of countries. All of our technical libraries (including the one that provides the flag) rely on this, too.

If in the future the ISO 3166 changes, we will immediately upgrade our service to support these changes.
