Board Game Arena

I am trying to join turn based tournaments. It won't allow me and says there is a 100 day tournament limit. I can't find anything that says this. I have pasted way more than 100 and now suddenly can't play. Is that forever?

However, I fail to understand two things.
1. How absolute is this limit? Like I joined 100 turn-based tournaments, eventually, and that's it? I will never be able to join another?
2. How does it help against sudden inactivity?

Changing something always brings some risk of introducing new bugs.
