Alleged Abuse of Red Thumbs

I recently received red thumbs (5 in all) for not joining the game, especially those with re-matches. As stated in my description, I usually keep playing re-matches with player I lost to until I gain a victory from them. I usually ask them reasons not playing the re-matches I set while inviting them back if they change their mind. Giving me red thumbs seems rare to me.
The questions are:
1. Can a player gives out red thumbs as he/she wish just because he/she don't want to play with that player? Is that considered as red thumb abuse?
2. What should I do to persuade the players withdraw the red thumbs from me? Should I send an e-mail to BGA Team to deal pressure to them?
P.S. I have give the corresponding players red thumbs unless they withdraw their red thumbs from me.

Yes, they can. It's not abuse.
Note that when giving out a red thumb, people have to decide whether
(a) the other player should be avoided from everyone ("public red thumb")
or
(b) it's just a personal opinion ("private red thumb").
You cannot see which type of red thumb someone gave you. But:
(b) has no negative effect on the player receiving the red thumb (apart from not playing again with the other person again).
(a) is only a problem for you, when many people say that about you (that you should be avoided by everyone). Then you can get a karma penalty hit, but that can be repaired by playing more games without receiving more public red thums. Also note that people cannot give (a) limitless. So when handing out public red thumbs too often without handing out a lot of green thumbs to their opponnents too, then they can't give any more of those.
2. What should I do to persuade the players withdraw the red thumbs from me? Should I send an e-mail to BGA Team to deal pressure to them?
P.S. I have give the corresponding players red thumbs unless they withdraw their red thumbs from me.
No, just do nothing. You'll find other people to play with.
To summarize: Just don't bother about it. You won't meet those people again anyway.
And some advice: If they don't want to play the rematch, it is their right to decline
. Making a fuss about it won't make them join. Most people don't read your info before joining your game in the first place, so they can't know about your "rule" anyway.

So you don't ever accept defeat, but must end an encounter with another player with you being victorious? This attitude may indicate a personality trait that will lead to you receiving the red thumbs.
But as Silene said, there is nothing that can or should be done for people who do not want to play with you as indicated by red thumbs. There are several thousand other players available.

Doing nothing literally mean
NOT solving the problem, something MUST be done. Maybe I should write an e-mail to BGA creator for this. Besides, I decided to give public red thumbs for a little warning.

I'm fine with defeat, but defeated by the same opponent TOO MANY times is
UNACCEPTABLE. I always chat to them, asking why they decline the re-match. Besides, I seek re-matches as opportunities to learn the strategies. I have come across some opponents who play with me where I lost multiple times, until I ask for some winning tips and eventually prevails. I don't want people to be judged as annoying.
P.S. One of my friends in BGA states she prefers playing slow games in the description box. So this case should not be judged in an unfair way.

Why is it a must that something has to be done when people avoid you? You can't force them to play with you and if you could then I would say something has to be done about the being forced to play with you, because that's far more restricting personal freedom than what you perceive as to be happening to you now.
I really don't see a problem here to be solved. It's only a problem for you because you decided for it to be one. You could also decide for it to be not a problem and go your own way and play with all the other people around.

If you have lost many times then obviously they already accepted a couple of rematches. It's not their fault that you didn't get your win until then. They don't have to play with you forever just because you didn't manage to get a win yet...

That's not a good attitude. You clearly aren't fine with defeat if you insist on playing someone until you beat them. If you have a need to prove yourself, why not play in Arena? That way, you don't need to keep trying to replay the same opponent, but if you're good enough you'll be ahead of them on the leaderboard by the end. If you're not, check your ego, and learn how to play the game better. Otherwise, there are plenty of people on the site who just want to play a game once and move on, you don't have the right to demand another game with folks.
Out of curiosity, what happens if they demand a rematch with you and then they win?

That is petty. How are you 100% certain you have never red thumbed a player this way that has NOT red thumbed you (first)?

Did you know that it's easy to spot whether a player RTed you when you look at their profile?
