Board Game Arena

Hello,

every time you release a new arena season my main page is full of tournament notices. I have never played in the arena (nor do I plan to). And I get notices of games that I once created with myself just to see the look of the game, or that I have played 1 time. Wouldn't it be possible to avoid these ads that don't interest me or to have ONE single ad from the arena? Or if you need more, just let me know about my favorite games.

Or better yet, not being in a group that I haven't signed up for and that I don't seem to be able to get out of because it says on my profile that I belong to 0 groups...

Not an ideal solution (I think you have a legitimate complaint about the assumed consent where you join a group automatically), but you can click on the groups by name, and then quit those groups individually. Not sure how you can check memberships of this groups before the messages appear though

You automatically join any "X players" as soon as you play the game X. But you can of course quit them, just type "X players" in the omnibar to find the group and exit it.
