Issue with Arena Settings

So I quite enjoy the arena setup for game play. It is a great way to jump into a quick match with little stake on the way of play.

However, I know that with the new way for picking settings for Arena it is based off of community feedback picked from those that play the most. The problem with this is that it is self repeating. Two quick examples are Kingdom Builder and Catan. I loved getting to do the Arena for Kingdom Builder a while back, but then I was traveling and not able to play for a long period. I come back and now Kingdom Builder is always set at 2 player Arena settings which I have absolutely no interest in playing. So like this last Arena season I think I played once and then never even tried to join a game again.

Well with the way the system is setup those that do love this style will be picked to be the voice of Kingdom Builder for next season and thus we will be in a self repeating loop of never getting 3 player settings again.

I put Catan down as well because I fear it will fall into the same trap. 3 player Catan is just not very fun. It is way too open and really becomes a pure numbers game. Perhaps others think differently, but for me at least it holds very little interest as a three player game. So this new Arena season is set in three player mode and now I really don't want to join games for Catan.

The problem of course is that if I don't play a high number of games it is very likely that I won't be selected for the group helping to decide the settings and thus the following season will be on 3 players and well just like Kingdom Builder I will end up almost never playing it again.

Not sure the fix, probably something along the lines of what Terra Mystica does with a very constant rotation of options, but right now I am just frustrated that two games I genuinely really enjoy playing on this site, I probably won't for the next few months.

Again just wanted to voice the concern so it was heard. Still think you all do a tremendous job especially juggling so many different games and constantly bringing in new ones. So thanks as always for that.
