Board Game Arena

I am playing this on an iPhone. Every other 2D game on BGA performs great. This game however does not. It takes a long time to load, and performance during gameplay is bad as well. Clicking on a piece takes two seconds before anything happens, same with all other actions. Animations are incredibly choppy and slow. I don’t know what is wrong with this game, but I know no other games on BGA with the same performance issues.

(Safari sometimes has performance issues for styles that have to be worked around)

In case someone experiencing the same issue reads this, I copy my answer from the bug report.

Safari is terrible at computing and displaying the borders around pieces, so terrible that I had to develop an option to use borders around tiles (much easier to compute because they are rectangles) instead of borders around pieces. You'll find this option in your player preferences.

Could you try using this option and see it that solves your problem ?
