Board Game Arena

The new arena mode completely changes the idea of the game. Is there any way that we can get the normal mode back?

Please, let's have it in parallel. There are a lot of disgusted players who don't know why there is a need for change in when it worked perfectly and people were actually entertained.

6 nimmt! = one of the oldest implementations here on the BGA does not deserve this treatment. I want to play this for fun here on the Arena and not a "strategy" game for a few people who admire the "professional" version. It would be so easy to spilt it up in 2 separate games "6 nimmt classic" and "6 nimmt professional". I ll take bets which will be played more

Besides which version is more fun: it is 2 completely different games. So it's a bit weird that you can enter arena modus in 'profi' while you have no clue how to play...
(Yeah, of course I should have checked the settings before entering, but I didn't even know this existed...)
That said: I also like the classic way better.

C'est une bonne idée de jouer avec une des variantes. On est obligé de revoir sa stratégie et ça nous sort de notre zone de confort. Très stimulant.

And I HATE to play with not professional ruleset. The game is to boring then. Suddenly a one can actually screw you. So I'm glad they finally choose professional ruleset I arena!

Agreed with the op... I was away from the arena for a few weeks and was unpleasantly surprised to start a game in professional mode.

At contrary, i did not play in arena before because it was not pro. Glad they made this change !
But I agree it is a completely different game, and that both versions should be available (which means both normal AND professional, which had been let apart for too long…)
