Board Game Arena

I apologize as I'm sure this is answered elsewhere. I searched FAQs, the forum DB, and can't find an answer.

One time (now foolishly I believe) I interjected a comment on a post in the Innovation players group.

Now, every time someone else adds a comment I get an in-game notification (the ! tab on the right side of the screen).

I've turned off EVERY SINGLE setting that I can think find.

And yet I still get several notifs a day (the group is active).

Other than leaving the group, how do I stop the madness?

i've learnt it the hard way too, and now refrain myself to comment on controversial news for popular game

How could it be possible not to have the ability to unsubscribe from a thread?

You can unsubscribe from a thread, just click the wrench icon

I love that there are different cognitive styles. Some people just click on stuff to see what it does. For me it's like exploring and discovering new territory. I've clicked on that wrench. I've played every customizable sound in Preferences and changed the ones that are annoying. I like knowing what can be done, even if I never have to or want to do it.

I tried removing myself from the group to stop getting notifications but that didn’t work and I still get them and now I can’t even see the Lucky Numbers group to see the wrench…

The wrench is on the forum, to (un)subscribe to threads on the forum.

The publication isn’t a forum I don’t think.

If someone uses the term 'thread', one would assume forum.
Otherwise it's not clear.
